Answer:
-Do you use MS Works or MS Word? In their template section they have one for resume writing that gives the format with categories, and you just fill in the information. I have helped several people to write resumes using this format. If you do not have this then please e-mail me and i will cut/paste the info for you. -Just a few quick notes on teacher resumes (I wrote my own and some for others in the past). A few suggestions from my experiences: Instead of "OBJECTIVES" write "CERTIFICATION". Then, print your certification area and numbers. The objective is assumed and usually not written on teacher resumes. As always on a resume, keep it brief. One page. No more. No less. But stretch the margins as far as they will go without looking too bad. :) I like to add a touch of color on mine. I only use blue and black. I write all the text in black. The I put a thick light blue line above and below the name/address/phone section. I also put a blue line at the bottom. It adds a graphical touch without being too tacky. I wouldn't recommend more than one color, though. Use thick, cotton paper. Find some with a watermark if you can. It's expensive, but it pays off. After you list your previous experience (like student teaching) add a short, one-liner below telling why the school was special. Example: "Worked in an inclusion class with many ESL students" When went to my interview (for the school I work at now), the principal asked about these one liners. "Tell me about the ways you adapted to the ESL students' needs," she asked.
