Question:
I am developing a personel web site in Publisher 2003. I'd like to add my
resume to my site, but want a viewer to be a able to save or print a Word
version of the page that contains it. How do I attach a downloadable or
printable file version of the document to the Publisher wb page so that a
user could "click" on an icon or button on the web page so that a Word
document shown on the page would open in Word ?
Answer:
-May I suggest you use a .pdf of your resume instead of a Word .doc?
-You simply upload the file and then on your web page you create a hyperlink
to the files URL.
- I've also got a link where you can click to get a printable
one. So feel free to print it out and then have a look at it on paper.
I've done it with the proper margins so that it will crop properly for
the back of an 8x10.
