I am asking two questions.
1st, if I make a post about free resume hosting - in a job board -
would that be considered SPAM. If so, why?
2nd, if I provide a URL, is providing a URL alone considered SPAM?
Finally, it appears that you think that posting about resume hosting -
in a job board - would be annoying and useless. Why? Really, why do
you you think it is annoying and useless?
Answer:
Business ads are not permitted.
If there is no advertising on the free resuming hosting thing then I see
no reason anyone would object.
If the job board makes ANY money by having people visit it then this is
not the correct group to post in.
It also depends who posts the ad.
If it is posted by someone who has a financial interest in getting
people to visit the site then it is not appropriate.
If it is posted by a personal to spread information then it is usually
appropriate.
