Question:
I need help, tried to do it myself and was told that I didn't
get an interview because my Resume sucked. Who can I see, where can I
go, how much does it cost, will they give it to me on disk so I can
update it when my circumstances change
Answer:
-Go to whatever the CES is called these days, they have booklets on
effective resume writing. There's also quite a neat guide to resume
writing on the web, at:
http://www.careermosaic.com/cm/rwc/rwc1.html
-If you can provide the information, I can set out the resume at a nominal
cost. Done it heaps of times for other people, no complaints yet.
-There are always ads in the local community papers for people who will
do your resume, I don't know how much they charge but it would be worth
checking out :)
I think you might find that the templates for resumes in Word are quite
good, thats what I use (not that I've had to use my resume to get a job
yet but they follow all the proper formats that you learn in a course
about resumes)
