Question:
I am one test away from getting my MCSE and was wondering how to show this on
my resume. Do I list the 6 cerification tests seperately? Am I supposed to put
the MCSE after my name? What would be a good Professional Objective for an
entry level position seeker such as myself? Does anyone know of a website where
they have sample resumes that I could use as a model?
Answer:
-So I guess you were just born with the proper knowledge. I mean you
were never a beginner at anything always an expert. Just remember most
people who graduate from college are only paper Engineers, Lawyers,
Accountants, Nuclear Physicist, Chemist, and the list could go on. All of
those individuals had to start some where to. To most things in life there
exist a "starting point" a "beginning" so I guess that makes you a freak of
nature. There exist a large number of individuals who work very hard in
school or self study to better themselves and start a new career. Not all
were as fortunate enough to be all knowing since the time you first open
your eyes. Yes, you and others like you who are worried that someone better
might come along and take your place. So what do you do, put them down as
much as possible. Because unlike you these people had to try hard to learn
something and where not just born with the gift of MCSE knowledge.
I just can not believe the entire blue collar attitude in a white collar
field. Especially one where the job market is wide slam open
-I must comment as well. I just got my job, with only a paper MCP ! Why? because
I was very confident in the interview after calling my corporation's help desk
for the last year and then explaining why their responses were wrong-headed
mis-diagnoses of my problems.
You don't have to be a seasoned veteran to be worthwhile. I'm wondering how
much lower my starting salary is today because those bozos have been lowing the
bar for years IN the field?
So take your attitude and put the energy into improving yourself
