Question:
I've been trying for some time to get my resume up on my website. I
could use a little help please. Every time I get it to look good, the
formatting slips a little here and there. I have it in a word document.
When I try to copy and paste it looks perfect. But when I view it as
html page it comes out wrong a little here and there and I can't seem
to correct it.
What I mean is I can't get 3 even columns. I tried to use the align
left html tag. It comes out very close, but still off a little. Is
there an html tag that will give me 3 nice even columns anyone can help
me out with? Or perhaps some sort of template? I'm pretty good with
codes, but by no means an expert. I would love to know how some others
are getting their resumes up there. (short of paying someone of course.
After all, I'm a starving artist)
Or,
Is there a way I can just upload it in word format and set up a link
people could click on?
Answer:
It sounds like you might be able to accomplish what you want with
tables.
As far as having a clickable link to your doc. document what you can do
is upload your document to your webspace. Once you have done that
include the link one your webpage.
