If you are looking for work or considering switching jobs then we'd like to
help you. Cre8ive Minds' career services division is geared towards IT
professionals.
Who better to look at your resume than another IT professional with years of
experience in
programming
web design
quality assurance
technical training
business analysis
marketing
resume critiquing
Our career services professional is in-tuned with what is available in the
market place, is an employed IT professional and has enthusiasm and unique
ideas to help you.
We understand the acronyms like XML, OOP, UML and know the difference
between JavaScript and Java, so we will be able to help explain your
technical skills in a proficient and clear manner. That's how our career
services are unique to other "resume services" out there.
We have helped hundreds of IT professionals (from entry level to project
managers) in revamping their resume, job search, networking, interview
preparation and confidence.
Answer:
- Most places frown on using a resume writing service plus the issue is lack
of jobs for the most part, not the format of resumes for most folks. If
someone involved in the IT field can't even develop a decent resume on their
own they shouldn't be in the sector to begin with IMHO. Part of the problem
with local IT is that it has too many folks that took a couple courses and
call them selves IT Professionals. In this market having solid IT skills as
well as good communication, interpersonal, managerial, etc skills is
important. Work with your peers to help review your resume, speak to
placement firms, etc. The way things are I don't think anyone can afford to
be paying money for this.
Nice to see someone trying to offer such a service but like the IT puppy
mills its the wrong time for this sort of thing.
- Thanks for the infomercial but I don't think the problem is resume format.
We can all come to you and instead of being just unemployed, we will be
unemployed but with a really nice resume! Sounds great. Do you take food
stamps as payment? Because most IT grads have huge debt and not much money
to spend on this type of thing.
