I've been in L.A. looking for comedic roles. A consultant helped me
draw up a snappy note to paste on my photo in lieu of a cover letter.
After hearing from some people, I'm not sure if this is the way to
go...can this open doors?

a professional approach is the best way. No matter
what kind of role you are seeking, they will be looking
for a professional to fill it.
