Question:
A computer lab teacher who has been assigned as the print queue operator for
her room's printers is unable to resume print jobs from her workstations.
She's not using NWAdmin to do this, but instead double clicks on the printer
object and views the queue from there for print jobs. Can someone confirm as
to whether she should be able to do it from there or give me suggestions as
to how to enable this for her?
Answer:
It's hit and miss with me. I can do it that way for some printers, and
not for others. I've not taken the time to try to figure out why. I'm
guessing it could be because some printers are native to the gateway (HP)
and some not.
I usually remote to the server console and manage things through the NDPS
Manager instead.
