writing a resume

Question:
I'm looking to come up with a resume for myself as a drummer but I'm not too sure how I should organize it and what to specifically include. I figure some of you here have put together something like this for yourselves and I was wondering if you come offer some suggestions to how I could approach this.

Answer:
- would say that the best way to approach it is kind of by sections as with any other resume, Include a little bit of info on yourself as far as age, location, and so on, you can also include your influences musically and that sort of thing. Then I would suggest providing some info on your playing background years you have been playing who you have studied with what kinds of music you like or are influenced by stylistically and so on, and lastly a list of your credits, live work, sessions, radio or TVappearences and the like. Some guys also like to include a list of their gear, sizes makes etc. I hope this is of some help to you!!!

- A written resume should only be a page; but on a web page, can have much depth using links. My on-line resume is at: http://www.geocities.com/vindrums/about-us/music-resume.htm Sorry if it doesn't come up as a link, but I'm still trying to post in Google....Verizon told me today, after leading me on for two months, that they can't help me with the websites. They can verify settings, and claim that the groups are there, but I haven't seen them since June 24! Now I have to pay them to cancel.
